Established in the year 1980, the Indian Group has been in the paper and packaging business for 40 years and is a leading name in the Indian paper industry. The business is known for its environment friendly paper products with the lowest carbon footprint. With the recently instituted business in green energy technologies, the Group now consists of six companies. It has over 800 employees across entities and has a strong focus on R&D and customer- service.
The Indian business has entered the green energy space and is keen on developing lithium-ion batteries for multiple applications. Future areas of focus:
- Producing high-performance Li-on batteries for electric 2-wheelers
- Intelligent EV charging stations with fast chargers, timers and option of switching to normal charging mode based on real-time grid conditions and readily charged batteries for customers
- Investment in R&D for future battery and drive train technologies for batteries that are environment friendly, have higher specific energy and low costs of production
The Indian company has the infrastructural capability and machines (for battery production, cell testing and sum- frequency generation) to produce 3000 Lithium-ion battery packs and machines for applications such as electric vehicles, solar street and LED lights, and telecom.
- Solar: 12.8V batteries with capacity ranging from 12-100 Ah
- Telecom: 48V batteries with capacities of 75 Ah and 100 A
- Electric Vehicle: 5Ah (E-Cycle) to 100Ah (E-Auto)
